Round 1: Well, the UFC kept it's word in giving Woodley his shot. Lawler just a badass. Should be good. The third man is Dan Miragliotta. Woodley rolls around, and Lawler holds his ground in the middle. A little recon her, each checking out — neither wanting to put themselves in harm's way. Now Woodley comes in on the fence swinging big, and he doesn't connect, as they clinch. Lawler prevents the takedown, and Miragliotta says that's enough immediately. They go back to center. Lawler very patient. He does a front kick, and Woodley holds the center. A big right hand from Woodley, and Lawler goes down! A series of punches on the fence as Miragliotta moves in, and that's it! It's over. Woodley is the new welterweight champion! That was some big time power. Hit him right on the button, and came in and finished with a series of rights. Damn!
