Germany is getting another good scrap.
On Friday, the UFC announced that a bantamweight fight between Ashlee Evans-Smith and Germaine de Randamie has been added to the Fight Night card for Hamburg, which takes place on Sept. 3.
The 32-year-old De Randamie (7-3) is coming off of back-to-back TKO victories over Larissa Pacheco and Anna Elmose, and has won three of her four fights so far in the UFC. She defeated Julie Kedzie at UFC on FOX 8 back in 2013 via split decision in her debut. The Dutch kickboxer's only loss was to current 135-pound champion Amanda Nunes, which also took place back in 2013.
Evans-Smith (4-1) is also coming off of a victory, scoring a split decision over Marion Reneau at UFC Fight Night 83 in February. The California fighter is 1-1 in the UFC, having lost at UFC 181 against Raquel Pennington via first-round submission (bulldog choke).
She also holds a victory over Fallon Fox, whom she faced in 2013 in CFA.
UFC Fight Night 93 takes place at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg. It will feature a heavyweight clash between Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett in the main event, as well as the return of Swedish light heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson, who takes on Jan Blachowicz.
