The third man in the Octagon has been named for the rematch between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor.

At Monday's Nevada Athletic Commission meeting, veteran John McCarthy was named the referee for the UFC 202 main event. The bout will take place on Aug. 20 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. ESPN's Brett Okamoto broke the news.

Derek Cleary, Jeff Mullen, Glenn Trowbridge were named the fight's judges.

The match between McGregor, the UFC featherweight champion, and Diaz, who usually competes at lightweight, will once again be contested at welterweight. Herb Dean was referee for their first bout at UFC 196, which Diaz won via second-round submission.
