Marlon Vera vs. Ning Guangyou set for UFC 202

A bantamweight bout between Marlon Vera and Ning Guangyou has been added to UFC 202. The news was announced by UFC Español on Friday.

Vera returns to the octagon after dropping a decision to Davey Grant at UFC Fight Night 84 in London, England. The Ecuadorian fighter is currently 1-2 in his UFC career with his only win being over Roman Salazar at UFC Fight Night 73.

His opponent, Guangyou, is coming off his first UFC loss, dropping a split decision to Marco Beltran back in November at UFC Fight Night 75. Prior to that, The Ultimate Fighter: China featherweight champion was on a three-fight winning streak.

UFC 202 takes place on Aug. 20 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor are scheduled to headline the card in a highly anticipated rematch.
