UFC 200 took place July 9, 2016 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo (25-3) collided against former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar (20-5-1) on the night's main card, which aired live on pay-per-view. Catch the video highlights above.

Round 1: Here we go, a five-round interim title fight between two greats — Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar. A rematch to UFC 156, Edgar's first fight as a feather. Conor McGregor is cageside. The referee for this one is Marc Goddard. He read the rules to them, and they touched gloves. Aldo with head down, serious and ready. Edgar out quick, and Aldo throws up a screen with his left hand. Edgar already flickering in his orbit, and delivers a leg kick. So far Aldo cautious, letting Edgar commit and moving out. Leg kick again from Edgar. Swift jab sequence from the Answer, as the crowd chants his name. Aldo with a body punch, but Edgar moves out, and then follows with a quick combo. Edgar's movement is mesmerizing at times...his head moves and his fists belong to another body. Another body punch from Aldo, and he crashes home a nice shot as Edgar blows through. Another exchange in which Aldo lands the bigger shot. Edgar feinting and keeping Aldo guessing, so far Aldo not letting the leg kicks fly. Takedown attempt by Edgar, but Aldo twists out of his single leg grasp. Solid right hand from Edgar. Edgar pushing forward at angles, and Aldo blasts him with a big right hand. That was the biggest shot so far. Edgar ate it, and he's back on his bike. Edgar with a nice combo to body then head. Knee to the body from Aldo, and that lands — Edgar tried to catch it, but the damage was done. Wow! Edgar tries kick and Aldo catches him as he comes in with a nice punch. Plucked him out of the air. Wild sequence there as Aldo nearly decapitates Edgar with an errant shot, and then whiffs on another big one. MMA Fighting scores R1 for Aldo, 10-9.

Round 2: Head kick from Edgar waves right by the elusive chin of Aldo, so he loads up on a couple of leg kicks. Those have been effective for Edgar so far. Front kick misses, as Aldo staying a his range. Another leg kick from Edgar, and another nice combo from low to top for Edgar. Aldo sizing things up, and Edgar drops for takedown, and again he's thwarted by Aldo. Great defense there. A little blood on Edgar's face, as he waves another high kick by Aldo's head. He's having a hard time hitting Aldo with anything big. Most his shots missing. Edgar comes in and takes a stiff shot, and then he pushes forward again and lands a nice right hand flush. That was a good one for Edgar, one of his harder shots. Now he snaps up Aldo's leg and tries to barrel through, but Aldo, light on his feet, spins free. A series of left jabs by Edgar, and a hard right hand lands from Aldo. Combo from Edgar, though, and that did some damage. Edgar is both succeeding and failing; he is doing his game plan, but not landing big. Chipping away, and getting nicked up in doing so. A couple of long jabs land from Aldo, who seems to be timing Edgar out. Knee from Aldo lands, and Edgar tries to parlay that into a takedown. Can't get it. Round 3: Nice exchange right in the middle, as Edgar throws a combo and eats a solid left. Snap fire shots there. Leg kick from Edgar, and he tries an uppercut that misses. Aldo now loading up on that right hand, and he tried to take his head off there. Edgar now ducks in and gets great takedown attempt, but Aldo able to thwart it — now Edgar just shoves him to the fence, and now grinding. Not a bad idea, honestly. Edgar has Aldo posted there, and Goddard warns him to stay busy. Aldo squirts free, and they reset. Edgar bleeding like he used to as a lightweight; cumulative damage. Edgar lands and then Aldo answers with a right hand. Edgar keeping the pressure on, and Aldo punches his thigh. Methodical stuff. Edgar circles, then gets in with a combination — but Aldo spins out without taking anything. Aldo just keeping his range, and Edgar having trouble getting in close. Aldo lights him up with a couple of jabs and a knee to the body, and Edgar steams ahead and pushes him back up on links. Can't get anything done there, and they break. Both eyes have blood on Edgar. Leg kick from Edgar, which continue to land, but his lead leg has remained sturdy. Aldo doing a great job of the old rip-and-slip. Big leg kick from Aldo at the end. MMA Fighting scores R3 for Aldo, 10-9 (29-28 overall for Aldo)

Round 4: Edgar comes in fast, and ties the jab. He's still a ball of movement. That kid always is. Still, Aldo is a sniper, and he's just keeping the range, teeing off at intervals with single shots. Nice one-two from Edgar there, with the left hand landing. Body kick from Edgar, but that had nothing on it — but the follow up did. Aldo hasn't been hurt in this fight yet, though, as he pivots to find the rolling Edgar. A nice combination to the body by Edgar, rapid shots — and he does it again. There was a beautiful left hook from Edgar, and that napped Aldo's head back. Right hand from Aldo there, and then another, as he starts to come back to life here. They stand in there, both with their heals dug in, and exchange. Aldo got the better of it. Again Edgar pressures and throws and gets tagged with two retreating punches from Aldo. He's just got that range on Edgar, and he knows how to use it. Aldo landing that jab when he wants it. Edgar such a dog, though, he walks through. Aldo slams another right hand home as he comes in again. Blood increasing on Edgar's brow. He's wearing the marks of this fight. MMA Fighting scores R4 for Aldo (39-37 for Aldo overall)

Round 5: Some close rounds, but Edgar might need a finish. Aldo lands a couple of lefts to get rolling. Edgar waves a high kick nowhere near Aldo's moving head. Aldo doing brilliant job of staying out of wild exchanges, and punishing Edgar's aggression. There's urgency for Edgar though. He's trying to get this. Aldo hits him with a head kick. Edgar comes in low, then lands his left high. Follows that up with another left. Right hand from a planted Aldo sort of stuns Edgar for a brief moment on a trade. Huge right hand from Aldo just as Edgar was revving up to come in. What a sniper. Edgar pushing though. He just can't get close enough to hit Aldo with anything big. He is forced to nickel and dime while Aldo crashing home silver dollar shots with his knees and right hands. High kick from Edgar, and Aldo easily blocks it with his forearm. They exchange, and Aldo again has the meaner connection. Right hand from Edgar. Now Edgar circles looking for an opening. Not going to be Edgar's night. Aldo looks like he regained his mojo. Excellent stuff from Aldo; smart stuff, and he conserved his energy throughout. MMA Fighting scores R5 for Aldo, 10-9 (49-46 overall for Aldo).
