Round 1: The referee is Jason Herzog. Poirier is southpaw, Green is orthodox and right away Poirier is stalking. Poirier jabs and Green partially lands a left hook counter. Hard jab to outside leg kick combo by Poirier, now twice. Green taunts Poirier and gets dropped badly. Poirier follows up, but Green scrambles to his feet and clinches. Before long, however, Poirier is all over him hitting Green in boxing range at all sorts of angles. Green is doing his best to duck and dodge, but he's dropped again. This time he shows his back and the referee has no choice but to stop it.
