Round 1: The referee in charge of the action is Herb Dean. Henderson is orthodox, Lombard is southpaw. Lombard is stalking, but Henderson's right hand is cocked and ready to unload. Henderson throws the right again, but it lands on the top of Lombard's head. Henderson wobbles Lombard with a huge right, but Lombard tags him in response and throws him to the ground. He moves to side control and tries an Americana and an armbar, but Henderson eventually scrambles to his feet. Lombard drops him again in a wild exchange and eventually lands in Henderson's full guard.
