INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- That thing Bobby Green likes to do, where he makes hand gestures, taunts his opponents, and keeps his hands down, finally seems to be catching up to him.
Dustin Poirier dropped Green with a huge left as soon as Greeen started taunting him in the first round of their UFC 199 fight. He finished the job later in the first round, earning the TKO at 2:53 of round one at The Forum.

"I can't say what he said, because my Mom asked me not to curse in the interview," Poirier (20-4) said. "He dropped profanities, saying I couldn't punch. He should have brought a pillow."
Green managed to escape trouble the first time, but he paid again later when he dropped his hands and left himself open for a giant left hand. Jason Herzog waved off the bout soon after Poirier pounced, giving Green (23-7) his second straight loss.
With the win, Poirier moved to 4-0 since moving up to lightweight.
"I'm happy I got a knockout, I'm happy that happened, but I was ready to go 15 minutes if I've had to," said Poirier.
