Tim Means returns to the UFC Octagon Aug. 20 at UFC 202.

According to a report from The Albuquerque Journal, Means will face Sean Strickland in a welterweight tilt at the event. UFC officials have confirmed the fight.

Means most recently fought in December of 2015 at UFC Fight Night 80, where he knocked out John Howard. Means was then scheduled to face Donald Cerrone Feb. 21 in the main event of Pittsburgh's UFC Fight Night 83 but was removed from the event after being flagged for a potential USADA violation.

Following a settlement, Means' suspension was reduced to six months, clearing him to fight in August.

Strickland, meanwhile, is coming off three straight wins, his latest a decision victory over the previously unbeaten Tom Breese at UFC 199.

UFC 202 is headlined by a rematch between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor. Other confirmed bouts for the card include Anthony Johnson vs. Glover Teixeira, Demian Maia vs. Carlos Condit, Rick Story vs. Donald Cerrone, Neil Magny vs. Dong Hyun Kim, Hyun Gyu Lim vs. Sultan Aliev, and Alberto Uda vs. Marvin Vettori.
