Nikita Krylov will be back in action less than three months after his last win, as the Ukrainian faces Ed Herman on July 30 at UFC 201. The promotion announced the light heavyweight clash on Friday.
Krylov (20-4), who recently who changed his nickname from "Al Capone" to "The Miner", enters the fight coming off four straight stoppage victories, most recently tapping Francimar Barroso in Rotterdam. In his previous bouts, Krylov finished Marcos Rogerio de Lima, Stanislav Nedkov and Cody Donovan in the first round.
Herman (22-11, 1 NC) looks for his second win after returning to the light heavyweight division. "Short Fuse", who went 9-7 in nine years as a middleweight under the UFC banner, knocked out Tim Boetsch in a 205-pound bout in January, scoring his first stoppage victory since 2012.
UFC 201 takes place at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, and is headlined by a welterweight title fight between champion Robbie Lawler and fellow American Top Team star Tyron Woodley. In the co-main event, flyweight kingpin Demetrious Johnson defends his title against Wilson Reis.
