Felice Herrig got her second chance. Following an anticlimactic run last year on American Ninja Warrior, the UFC strawweight veteran was given a do-over on this season of the popular show -- and she made the most of it.
This time around, the 31-year-old Herrig made it past the first two obstacles before stumbling on the third, a log roll which felled several other decorated competitors. Still, Herrig's attempt went a long way to erase the memory of her appearance on last year's American Ninja Warrior, which ended with the first obstacle.
Herrig (10-6) is currently scheduled to fight Kailin Curran on July 23 at UFC on FOX 20.
Nicknamed "Lil Bulldog," Herrig was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 20 and has split her two UFC outings thus far, submitting Lisa Ellis then losing a decision to Paige VanZant. Catch video of Herrig's latest run on American Ninja Warrior above.
