Undefeated bantamweight Ketlen Vieira has signed a four-fight deal with the UFC, Vieira and her manager Samir Nadaf announced Tuesday on their social media. There’s no date and opponent set yet for Vieira's promotional debut.
Vieira made her MMA debut in October 2014, and racked up six straight wins in 17 months, winning the Mr. Cage bantamweight title in the process. The Manaus native only went the distance once in her career, scoring three submissions and two TKO finishes in her first five bouts.
Vieira, who trains with Jose Aldo’s first coach Marcio Pontes in Manaus, Brazil, joins fellow Brazilian bantamweights Amanda Nunes, Bethe Correia and Larissa Pacheco on the UFC roster.
