There's no major UFC event this weekend, but there is certainly a lot to discuss. First and foremost, former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre has indicated a strong interest in returning to the UFC. While I'll be there to cover it if he does, I personally do not like this call and wish it were not so. I recognize I'm in the minority on this opinion, but nevertheless, I find GSP's record to be impeccable. He left with his health mostly intact. He is already one of the greatest fighters ever if not the best. I don't like the risk he runs in returning.

Then there's the issue of the UFC itself. FloCombat's Jeremy Botter is reporting the deal is done with WME-IMG leading the way. The announcement will apparently come at UFC 200. What does this mean for fans? We'll explore.

Bellator also gets back to business with their second Dynamite show, which features the Bellator debut of Matt Mitrione and the return of Quinton Jackson. It's confusing because there's kickboxing on the Dynamite card...followed by a kickboxing card. I'm not sure the segmentation works all that well, but perhaps the show will be a hit.
