Mackenzie Dern gets opponent for MMA debut at Legacy FC 58

Multiple time jiu-jitsu and grappling champion Mackenzie Dern has an opponent set for her mixed martial arts debut at Legacy FC 58 on July 22.

Dern, an ADCC 2015 winner and IBJJF world champion, will take on fellow MMA newcomer Kenia Rosas in a 115-pound fight, Legacy FC announced Thursday.

The event, scheduled for the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Lake Charles, La., is headlined by Robert Drysdale. It will be his first fight since leaving the UFC, taking on Ryan Spann for the light heavyweight championship. In the co-main event, undefeated lightweight Oron Kahlon faces Josh Quayhagen.

The fight card, which airs live on AXSTV, also includes Ryan Hollis vs. Cody Williams, Jose Ceja vs. Trent Meaux, CJ Hancock vs. Brandon Allen, and Matt Mooney vs. Gage Duhon.
