At UFC 133, a 22-year-old Rory MacDonald (18-3) took on MMA veteran Mike Pyle. MacDonald proved to be one of the best prospects in the welterweight division by defeating the crafty Pyle via technical knockout at 3:54 of round one.
Now at 26 years of age and now ranked number one contender in the welterweight division, MacDonald is schedule to fight Stephen Thompson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 89 on June 18 in Ottawa, Canada.
