This is the Promotional Malpractice Live Chat.

We're now in May and while the sport is semi-quiet at the moment, there's still enough going on for our chat this week. First and foremost, there's a UFC event this weekend, the first ever in Holland. Alistair Overeem faces Andrei Arlovski in the main event, which is worth some examination. The card also features Stefan Struve, along with an array of Dutch fighters to help round out the event. We'll look at the card and what the results could potentially mean.

We're also just days removed from Conor McGregor's social media outpouring, from Instagram to Twitter. Whatever the UFC's plans, McGregor still seems intent on facing Nate Diaz, although when is anyone's guess. The Irish fighter also revealed contractual details, sort of. He certainly discussed financials in a way he hasn't before. All of this merits examination.

Then there's all sorts of news and notes. Paige VanZant won't be part of UFC 200, Michael Bisping thinks he might be the only clean fighter at middleweight, there's the tragic story of Jordan Parsons, Bellator is signing elite wrestlers again and more.

There's a lot going on, so join me today to discuss all of this and more. In terms of today's chat, anything is up for discussion, but I will lead with this and it all kicks off at 1 p.m. ET.

As is customary, I'll post the video window here as the event draws near and I'll answer any questions you may have if you post them in the comments section below. Be sure that you click the 'rec' button for those comments/questions you believe most deserve a response.

Be sure to link this page and use the hash tag #chatwrappers on Twitter or even Facebook when you're watching this to let everyone know you're taking part in this activity of ours.
