Jason Miller weighed 209 pounds at the Venator FC III weigh-ins Friday in Milan, Italy.
Only issue was it was a for a middleweight title fight against Luke Barnatt. So Miller missed weight by a staggering 24 pounds.
As a result, Barnatt will now defend his title against Stefan Croitoru, who weighed 183 for a separate middleweight fight, in a five-round bout. The promotion is trying to find another opponent to fight Miller on 24 hours' notice.
Venator offered Barnatt 30 percent of Miller's purse, plus an extra five thousand euros to still fight Miller, however, Barnatt decided to fight Croitoru instead.
Below is footage of Miller missing weight, courtesy of MMA Latest News. This would have been his first fight since May 2012.
Update: Miller weighed in again at 205 pounds, so he is now scheduled to fight Mattia Schiavolin at Venator FC III. However, per the organization, if he weighs more than 207 pounds Saturday at 8:00 am local time, the fight will be called off.
In other Venator FC III weigh-in news, Rousimar Palhares weighed 169 pounds for his welterweight bout against Emil Meek.
