Now that she's in the UFC, Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino is making up for lost time.
According to a report on UFC Tonight, "Cyborg" could be making a quick turnaround to fight again at UFC 201 in Atlanta. A catchweight bout between her and Germaine de Randamie is being discussed for event, which takes place on July 30 at the Phillips Arena.
Justino (16-1-1) is coming off of an 81-second TKO of Leslie Smith in her Octagon debut, which occurred at UFC 198 in her native Curitiba, Brazil. The 30-year old Justino is the current featherweight champion in Invicta FC, and had expressed a desire to defend her belt in that organization in her next fight. Her fight with Smith was contested at a 140-pound catchweight.
The 32-year old De Randamie has won back-to-back fights Larissa Pacheco and Anna Elmose, the latter occurring earlier this month during the UFC's foray into Rotterdamn.
UFC 201 will feature a welterweight title fight between defending champion Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley in the main event.
Update: Cris Cyborg has denied this fight on Twitter: "My next fight will be at my weight, 145lbs, title defense at Invicta FC. Catchweight only Ronda Rousey or Miesha Tate," she wrote.
