The gets their instructions, and they touch gloves. Chant breaks out over Curitiba. Here we go. Werdum to the middle, and they pantomime. Body kick to the ribs from Werdum, who next goes to the leg. Push kick from the champ, and another. Left hand and then a right from Miocic, but he's errant. Werdum letting loose with the kicks. Another big right hand from Miocic, and if one of those lands could be curtains. Inside leg kick from Miocic. who seems to be patient. Werdum ducks down and goes for single leg, but Miocic spins out of that like it wasn't anything. Miocic working the left jab, sending those in multiples. Left hand lands from Miocic, and that rocked Werdum's head back. Didn't hurt him. Checked kick from Miocic, and now Miocic comes flying in with a sequence, and BOOM! He slams Werdum with a big shot, and it's over! The crowd falls dead silent, and Miocic is the new heavyweight champion. Wow! Miocic jumps the fence and celebrates with his corner. Werdum was flying in throwing leather on fence and Miocic coolly unloaded a right hand that felled him. At last, Cleveland has a champion.
