The Bellator 156 fight card is taking shape.

Bellator MMA announced in a press release Tuesday that Chidi Njokuani will face former Bellator welterweight champ Douglas Lima in the co-main event of the June 17 fight card in Fresno, Calif.

Njokuani (14-4, one no-contest) has not lost since March 2013, posting a 5-0 record with one no-contest during that stretch. Most recently, he defeated Ricky Rainey via unanimous decision in his Bellator debut at Bellator 146.

Lima (26-6) is coming off his first lost since 2012. The former 170-pound champ lost a unanimous decision to Andrey Koreshkov at Bellator 140, dropping his title and snapping a five-fight winning streak – all via knockout – in the process.

Before that run, Lima was defeated by Ben Askren at Bellator 64, a loss which snapped a nine-fight winning streak dating back to June 2009.

Bellator 156 is headlined by a much anticipated rematch between Bellator bantamweight champ Marcos Galvao and challenger Eduardo Dantas.

Dantas previously defeated Galvao via knockout at Bellator 89 in February 2013. The two were slated to fight in October 2015 and in February 2016, but neither fight came to fruition. First, Dantas suffered an injury prior to Bellator 144, then Galvao fell ill during the week leading up to Bellator 150.
