Following her impressive fifth-round submission victory over Holly Holm to become the bantamweight champ at UFC 196, Miesha Tate has signed a new deal with the UFC.
KHI Management announced the news via Twitter:

Terms of the new deal were not released, however, MMA Fighting confirmed that Tate was not a free agent following the fight with Holm.
In that UFC 196 championship bout, Tate earned a disclosed $46,000 to show and $46,000 to win, totaling $92,000. Holm, meanwhile, took home $500,000 in defeat.
