Coach: Ovince Saint Preux broke his arm in second round vs. Jon Jones

Ovince Saint Preux fought the best fighter in the world with a broken arm for more than three rounds.

OSP's coach Joey Zonar told MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani on Sunday that Saint Preux broke his left arm in the second round Saturday night at UFC 197. Jones ended up beating Saint Preux via unanimous decision in the main event fight in Las Vegas.

Zonar was unsure if OSP will need surgery on his arm. UFC president Dana White first mentioned the possibility of Saint Preux breaking his arm after the fight Saturday. Saint Preux was unable to make the post-fight press conference.

White also mentioned that OSP's stock went up after going the distance with Jones and that feat looks even more impressive now that we know he had a broken arm.

Saint Preux (19-8) was coming off a unanimous decision win over Rafael Cavalcante in February. The 33-year-old OSP, a former University of Tennessee football player, also owns wins over Mauricio Rua and Patrick Cummins.
