Round 1: Here we go, the first of our two championship bouts tonight. Johnson is an overwhelming favorite, but if we've learned anything watching this crazy sport, it's that anything can happen on any given night. Big John McCarthy is the third man in the cage. Johnson starts at a tremendous pace, mixing it up with a few low kicks then going up high with a right hook. Cejudo closes the distance but can't do anything from the clinch. Johnson circles then throws out a head kick, which is blocked. Johnson wades into the clinch, and Cejudo gets a trip takedown! Wow. Johnson kicks him off, stands, then wades back into the clinch. Big knee to the jaw from Johnson, followed by another to the body. Nice elbow inside elbow from Johnson. They release, and Johnson staggers Cejudo with a trio of knees to the body and head! Johnson storms forward and puts it on Cejudo! Another knee to the body drops him. Johnson pounces with punches and that's it! Wow. Make that eight straight title defenses for the flyweight champ.
