John Dodson wasted little time getting things done in his return to the bantamweight division.
"The Magician" brutalized an overwhelmed Manny Gamburyan with a swarm of lightning-fast left hands on Saturday, scoring a TKO in just 47 seconds in the featured Fight Pass bout at UFC on FOX 19 in Tampa.
"Everybody knows my motto is speed kills, and speed killed today," said Dodson (18-7), who scored his 11th career victory via finish.

Dodson stunned Gamburyan with a crisp straight left, which dropped him. He followed up with a dozen or so left uppercuts before the referee stepped in and waved off the bout.
The Jackson's MMA fighter won TUF 14 as a bantamweight, knocking out T.J. Dillashaw in the finals. He then dropped to flyweight, where he went 5-2, with his losses coming to current champion Demetrious Johnson.
"Why are you saying [bantamweight is] wide open, you're looking at the new champion," Dodson said. "The entire division is nothing but strong fast names and I want to submit my name, put my name in the hat for the title."
Gamburyan, who was in his 18th Zuffa fight in a stint dating back to TUF 5, dropped to 15-9, his first loss since he went down to bantamweight.
