Patricky Freire vs. Derek Campos announced as MMA main event for Bellator 152

The MMA portion of Bellator's Italian debut is officially set.

Patricky "Pitbull" Freire will take on Derek Campos in a lightweight bout at Bellator 152 in Milan, Italy, the company formally announced Wednesday.

It will officially serve as the MMA main event on a combined Bellator MMA and kickboxing event on April 16.

Freire (15-7) is coming off a vicious knockout of Ryan Couture at Bellator 148. Campos (16-6), for his part, has also proven he can throw down, and he knocked out veteran Melvin Guillard on the main card of Bellator 149.

Bellator also announced a pair of women's fights to round out the main card. Much heralded flyweight signing Anastasia Yankova (2-0), a standout Muay Thai fighter, makes her promotional debut against Anjela Pink (0-0); and in a featherweight fight, Daniele Miceli (2-0) squares off with Daniela Scatizzi (6-2).
