The UFC is headed to Canada's national capital later this year.
A UFC Fight Night event is set for Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on June 18, according to The Ottawa Citizen, who confirmed the news with UFC officials.
No fights were announced for the card just yet, however, MMAFighting.com has learned that a Rory MacDonald vs. Stephen Thompson welterweight bout has been discussed for that particular event.
It's unclear at this time which venue within Ottawa will host the card.
Ottawa will become the ninth Canadian city to host a UFC event and the first in 2016.
