An exciting bantamweight clash was added to the UFC 198 event in Brazil.
Coming off a big win in his 135-pound debut, John Lineker is set to take on Rob Font at the 42,000-seat Arena da Baixada stadium in Curitiba on May 14, the promotion announced on Wednesday.
Lineker (26-7) started his UFC career as a flyweight, but eventually moved up to the bantamweight division after failing to make weight multiple times. At 135 pounds, he finished Francisco Rivera in one of the best fights of 2015.
Undefeated for four years, Font (12-1) entered the UFC riding a nine-fight winning streak, and impressed inside the Octagon with a pair of knockout victories over George Roop and Joey Gomez.
