Angela Hill is staying busy in her post-UFC life.

The former TUF 20 cast member will step in and face strawweight contender Stephanie Eggink on less than two weeks' notice at Invicta FC 16. The news was announced Wednesday following an injury to Eggnik's original opponent, unbeaten Alexa Grasso.

A former kickboxing standout, Hill (3-2) is best known for her run on The Ultimate Fighter 20, which came just months after her MMA pro debut.

Regardless of any inexperience, Hill showed flashes throughout her time under the UFC umbrella, winning a three-round rout over Emily Kagan before dropping back-to-back fights against two of the toughest names in the division, Tecia Torres and Rose Namajunas, and being released by the promotion.

Undeterred, the 28-year-old rebounded in a major way at Invicta FC 15, scoring a highlight-reel first-round knockout which saw Hill floor Alida Gray with a devastating knee to the body.

She'll now look to continue that momentum against Eggink (4-2), a highly regarded prospect who has been sidelined since losing a Sept. 2014 bid against Katja Kankaanpaa for the vacant Invicta FC strawweight title. Eggnik holds past victories over UFC veterans Angela Magana and Heather Clark.

Invicta FC 16 takes place March 11 at the Trinidad Pavilion at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. The event streams live on UFC Fight Pass and is headlined by a championship double-header, as atomweight champion Ayaka Hamasaki looks to defend her belt against Amber Brown, and Vanessa Porto and Jennifer Maia collide for the interim flyweight title.

In addition, Invicta FC announced Wednesday that flyweight prospect Aspen Ladd (2-0) has been tapped as a replacement to fight Kelly McGill (2-0) in a bantamweight bout following an injury to Amberlynn Orr.
