Jessica Aguilar won’t enter the Octagon on April 23, sources told MMAFighting.com.

The former WSOF strawweight champion, who lost to 115-pound contender Claudia Gadelha in her promotional debut last August, was slated to meet Juliana Lima at UFC 197, but was forced out of the contest due to a knee injury.

The promotion is currently looking for a new opponent for Lima (8-2), who defeated Nina Ansaroff and Ericka Almeida after losing to current champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk in her UFC debut on July 2014.

According to sources, Aguilar is scheduled to undergo knee surgery to repair a tore ligament on Tuesday.

UFC 197 takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and features two championship fights. Light heavyweight titleholder Daniel Cormier rematches Jon Jones in the main event, while flyweight kingpin Demetrious Johnson faces Henry Cejudo in the co-main event.
