A heavyweight bout between Dan Charles (10-3) and Augusto Sakai (9-0) is the latest addition to the Bellator 155 main card. The news was announced on Thursday by the promotion.
Charles enters this bout following a second round knockout win over Chase Gormley at Bellator 143 back in September. Prior to that, the 30-year-old Charles suffered a technical knockout loss to Bobby Lashley at Bellator 138.
Meanwhile, Sakai enters the bout with an undefeated record and three wins under the Bellator banner. The 24-year-old Brazilian prospect was scheduled to fight earlier this year in the co-main event of Bellator 150, but had to pull out of the card due to injury.
Bellator 155 is set to take place in Boise, Idaho on May 20. Rafael Carvalho is scheduled to defend his middleweight title against Melvin Manhoef in the main event of the card.
