Invicta FC 16 salaries: Roxanne Modafferi leads payroll with $13,000

Esther Lin, Invicta FC

Fourteen-year MMA veteran Roxanne Modafferi led this past Friday's Invicta FC 16 salary report, earning $13,000 for her split decision victory over DeAnna Bennett. The Nevada Athletic Commission released the event's figures Monday to MMA Fighting.

In the night's main event, Ayaka Hamasaki took home $12,000 for her successful Invicta atomweight title defense. Hamasaki retained the belt with a third-round armbar over Amber Brown ($5,000).

Meanwhile, newly crowned Invicta FC flyweight champion Jennifer Maia earned $8,000 for her co-headlining victory over Vanessa Porto ($8,000).

Invicta FC 16 took place March 11 at the Trinidad Pavillion in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card aired live on UFC Fight Pass.

Of note, ex-UFC fighter Jessamyn Duke entered the night with the biggest earning potential. She ultimately took home $10,000 for her first-round defeat at the hands of Irene Aldana, but could have doubled that number with a win.

A complete list of the Invicta FC 16 salaries can be seen below. As always, these figures do not represent a fighter's total earnings, as sponsorship incomes and discretionary post-fight bonuses are not publicly disclosed.
