Well, we normally do this on Wednesday's at 1 p.m. ET, but I have jury duty starting tomorrow and that sort of changes all of the plans.
Still, the mixed martial arts train rolls on. We're only days removed from the biggest win of Michael Bisping's career, which also left us questioning the future of Anderson Silva. It was a tough, weird fight, but one with major implications for both fighters as they try to move forward.
Then there's the big show on Saturday night: UFC 196. Conor McGregor returns to action in a non-title fight, but one with a ton on the line as he takes on Nate Diaz in a welterweight contest. I don't think I need to say too much more about that, but the card also offers Holly Holm defending her title against Miesha Tate in the co-main event, raising the stakes for not merely their careers, but the UFC's long-term plans as well.
Bellator is also staying active with a show on Friday featuring Joe Warren taking on NCAA standout Darion Caldwell.
