It'll be a pivotal clash of styles in the Netherlands.

Welterweight contenders Gunnar Nelson and Albert Tumenov will fight at UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Arlovski on May 8 in Rotterdam, the UFC announced Tuesday. Nelson is known for his slick Brazilian jiu-jitsu, while Tumenov is a lethal striker.

Nelson (14-2-1) is coming off a tough, unanimous decision loss to Demian Maia at UFC 194 in December. Maia, arguably the best grappler in all of MMA, dominated Nelson on the ground throughout. The 27-year-old, Icelandic favorite, who is a teammate of Conor McGregor, has now lost two of three with a first-round submission win over Brandon Thatch in between.

Tumenov (17-2) has won five straight since falling in his UFC debut to Ildemar Alcantara. The Russian fighter defeated Lorenz Larkin via split decision at UFC 195 in January and knocked out Alan Jouban in the first round at UFC 192 back in October. Tumenov, 24, is one of the top prospects in the welterweight division.

UFC Fight Night 84 will be headlined by a heavyweight contender bout between Alistair Overeem and Andrei Arlovski. No co-main event has been made official, but Nelson vs. Tumenov will likely be in the running. The event marks the UFC's debut in Holland.
