Rousimar Palhares will be back in action on April 2, but not in an MMA bout.

Palhares, who holds a record of 18-6 in mixed martial arts with 15 submission finishes, is slated to grapple fellow heel hook specialist Garry Tonon in a no-gi match in the main event of Polaris Pro 3, the promotion announced Friday. Polaris Pro 3 takes place at the Lighthouse Centre in Poole, England.

Palhares vs. Tonon is a 15-minute match, and both fighters have to weigh in at 83kg (182.9 pounds), Palhares’ camp told MMAFighting.com.

"Toquinho", who tapped Shields with a kimura to defend his belt, has won four straight since cutting down to 170 pounds, all via submission. Tonon tapped both Masakazu Imanari and Marcin Held with heel hooks in the previous editions of Polaris Pro.

The Brazilian submission expert got stripped of his WSOF welterweight belt and is currently serving a two-year suspension by the Nevada Athletic Commission for controversial actions against Jake Shields last August. He won the fight via third-round kimura.

The event will be streamed live via pay-per-view. Polaris Pro also announced Gianni Grippo vs. Bruno Frazatto and Joao Miyao vs. Yukinori Sasa for the event.
