There isn't a UFC or even Bellator event this weekend, but there's plenty to talk about. First up is what happened this past weekend. Stephen Thompson's utterly sensational win over Johny Hendricks has shaken up the welterweight division. It's not clear who will get the next title shot, but it is clear Thompson has elevated himself to the division's upper echelon.

Jon Jones was in the headlines this week ultimately for a traffic infraction, but Jones took to social media to slam journalists covering his admittedly relatively minor driving problems. I'll explain why Jones' reaction is a little more than curious.

UFC Pittsburgh is just a week and a half away. That means Donald Cerrone at welterweight, Cody Garbrandt vs. John Lineker, Brandon Thatch vs. Siyar Bahadurzada and much more.

Then there's Bellator 149 with Royce Gracie vs. Ken Shamrock, Kimbo Slice vs. DaDa 5000 and more. Is Bellator right to even book these fights? Do you intend to watch?

Some fighters are getting caught by USADA, but others are claiming it's all a big misunderstanding because they're taking tainted supplements. It sounds ludicrous, but we live in an environment where the FDA doesn't regulate supplements. It's not the most outlandish thing to say supplements can cause false or otherwise mitigating positives.

And hey, there's also Cam Newton and Beyonce topics to discuss.
