The UFC has officially announced three bouts to its Fight Night card in Halifax, Canada.
Scheduled for the Scotiabank Centre on Feb. 19, the UFC Fight Night 105 will feature a pair of middleweight bouts, Elias Theodorou vs. Cezar Ferreira and Thiago Santos vs. Jack Marshman, and a lightweight clash between Alessandro Ricci and Alvaro Herrera.
Theorodou (12-1) returns to action eight months after a unanimous decision win over Sam Alvey, improving to 4-1 under the UFC banner. Ferreira (11-5), the first TUF Brazil winner, has won three in a row since moving back tot he middleweight division.
Santos (13-5), who has a win over Theodorou and a loss to Ferreira in his UFC record, looks to bounce back from losses to Gegard Mousasi and Eric Spicely. Marshman (21-5), a former Cage Warriors 170-pound champion, finished Magnus Cedenblad in his promotional debut in November.
Ricci (10-4) looks for his first win in the Octagon after suffering a unanimous decision defeat to Jeremy Kennedy in August. Herrera (9-4), who entered the UFC after competing on TUF Latin America, made quick work of Vernom Ramos in his debut before losing to Vicente Luque in July.
The UFC has yet to announce which bout will headline the promotion’s return to Canada.
