Tim Elliot almost did the impossible, dethrone UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson.
Elliott, who won The Ultimate Fighter 24, earning a shot at the champ Johnson, sinked in a D’arce choke in the first round of the main event at Saturday’s TUF 24 Finale that had many people thinking Johnson’s reign as a champion had come to an end. However, Johnson proved why he’s the champ, and came back to win a unanimous decision.
