Felice Herrig vs. Alex Grasso one of several fights announced for UFC Houston

One of the most popular fighters in women's mixed martial arts makes her return to the Octagon on Super Bowl weekend.

Felice Herrig will face off with Alex Grasso on the co-main event of the UFC Fight Night card in Houston on Feb. 1. The UFC announced the bout, along with several other fights, on Saturday.

Herrig (11-6) has won two out of her past three fights. The Chicago-area native's most recent bout was a first-round submission victory over Kailin Curran in July, her fourth career submission win.

Grasso (9-0), meanwhile, is one of the fastest-rising strawweights on the planet. The Guadalajara native decisioned Heather Clark on Nov. 5 in her UFC debut.

Several main-card bouts were announced as well: Abel Trujillo vs. Evan Dunham, Jan Blachowicz vs. Ovince Saint Preux, and Justin Ledet vs. Dmitry Sosnovskiy.

On the prelim card, Curtis Blaydes meets Adam Milstead at heavyweight, lightweights Johnny Case and James Vick clash, and featherweights Chris Gruetzemacher and Chas Skelly collide.
