The UFC Fight Night 102 card took a few hits, but the promotion managed to get new opponents for Gian Villante and Juliana Lima.

The UFC announced that Saparbek Safarov and J.J. Aldrich have signed with the promotion to replace injured Patrick Cummins and Tatiana Suarez and face Villante and Lima on Dec. 9, respectively.

UFC Fight Night 102, headlined by Derrick Lewis vs. Shamil Abdurahimov, takes place at the Times Union Center in Albany, NY.

Villante (14-7) looks to get back on track following a decision loss to Ilir Latifi in March. The Ney-York native light heavyweight, who has competed as a heavyweight in the past, holds a 4-4 record inside the Octagon.

Safarov (8-0) makes his UFC debut after building a perfect record in Russia and Ukraine, winning all of his fights by stoppage.

Lima (8-3) hasn’t fought since April, when she had a two-fight winning streak snapped by former UFC champion Carla Esparza. Prior to the defeat, “Ju Thai” scored her first UFC victories against Nina Ansaroff and Ericka Almeida.

Aldrich (4-1) competed on the 23rd season of The Ultimate Fighter, and went 1-1 on the UFC reality show, beating Kristi Lopez and losing to season winner Tatiana Suarez. Aldrich beat Lynn Alvarez at Invicta FC 20, just three weeks before her next fight.
