The UFC was forced to make a pair of changes to the upcoming Fight Night card in Phoenix due to injuries.

The promotion announced that Brazilian flyweight Jussier Formiga was forced out of his bout with Sergio Pettis due to an undisclosed injury, and will be replaced by John Moraga on Jan. 15.

Formiga told MMA Fighting he suffered an right ankle injury and can't train for 30 days, but will avoid surgery.

Moraga (16-5) looks to get back on track following consecutive losses to Matheus Nicolau and Joseph Benavidez, while Pettis (14-2) goes for his third straight win as a flyweight after decision victories over Chris Cariaso and Chris Kelades.

Devin Powell also has a new opponent in Phoenix. Originally scheduled to face Jordan Rinaldi, the lightweight now meets Drakkar Klose.

Both Powell and Klose are set to make their promotional debuts, stepping inside the Octagon with 8-1 and 6-0-1 records, respectively.

UFC Fight Night 103 takes place at the Talking Stick Arena on Jan. 15, and features Yair Rodriguez vs. B.J. Penn in the main event.
