This is the Promotional Malpractice Live Chat.

It's only been a week since the last live chat, but it feels like ages. A lot has happened in the time since including Christmas, Hanukkah and a whole lot more.

But the big story, of course, is the return of Ronda Rousey and her participation at UFC 207. It's a huge fight, generally, a critical moment for her career, and a potential break out opportunity for UFC women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. Yet, Rousey is boycotting the overwhelming majority of the media, which has put something of a damper on the event as well as Nunes herself. We'll go into all of these details.

Another big women's mixed martial arts figure making news is Cris Justino. Cyborg was notified by USADA last Thursday she'd been flagged for a potential doping violation related to a diuretic she was taking. The Brazilian claims everything is above board, her doctor prescribed it and there's a medical necessity to it. Skeptics don't believe her. At a minimum, it's a terrible look. We'll go into what we know and what it means.

Plus, there's lots to think about as do the last live chat of the year. What were the big stories in MMA? What will happen in 2017? We'll go over everything.
