This is the Promotional Malpractice Live Chat.

The year is winding down. Just two more live chats and the year is up. In today's episode, we'll recap who likely deserves to be Fighter of the Year, some of the debates raging inside the sport about the various candidates, why efforts to pinpoint a candidate are fraught with peril and more.

We'll also go over last night's news from Jose Aldo and Mark Hunt. For the featherweight champ, his news that a bout with Max Holloway is off and that he might compete for an interim lightweight title is top of the bill. As for Hunt, he wants certain contractual conditions before he agrees to fight again, even if he's linked to certain fighters and certain events. We'll go over what this all means.

We're also fresh off UFC on FOX 22, which did very good ratings. The question is why? We'll try to figure that out while examining the results themselves.
