The man with The Ultimate Fighter 24's best knockout is headed to Rizin.
Kai Kara France, who competed in the TUF flyweight championship tournament over the summer, will meet Tatsumitsu Wada at the Rizin World Grand Prix 2016: Second Round on Dec. 29 in Japan, it was announced at a press conference Tuesday.
France (12-5) knocked out Terrence Mitchell in just 34 seconds on the first episode of TUF 24, which aired in September. He fell in the quarterfinals by unanimous decision to Alexandre Pantoja. France, a 23-year-old New Zealand native, is the former Bragging Rights flyweight champion.
Wada (16-8) has won five in a row, four of which by finish. The Japan native most recently fought under the Deep banner, beating Yuya Shibata by unanimous decision in June.
The first day of the two-day Rizin spectacle later this month will feature the quarterfinals of the openweight Rizin World Grand Prix 2016. Mirko Cro Cop and Shane Carwin are among the quarterfinalists.
