The welterweight co-main event between veterans Donald Cerrone and Matt Brown at UFC 206 figured to be an all-action affair.

And it was, right up until the "Cowboy" decided enough was enough.

Cerrone blasted Brown with vicious head kick knockout, finishing a wild matchup at the 34-second mark of the third round at Toronto's Air Canada Centre.

"It's a lot of fun, I love this s*** man," said Cerrone, who is 4-0 since going up to welterweight.

Cerrone (32-7, 1 NC) got off to a strong start in the opening round, rocking Brown early and often. But while the super-tough Brown (20-16) is undeniably reaching the back end of his career, he's still a wily opponent. He managed to goad Cerrone into a tight triangle from the bottom, and started to find a home with his strikes late in the round.

The second round was back and forth, and Cerrone continuing to land with his kicks, and Brown mixing up looping punches and standing elbows.

We appeared to be settling into for a wild final round, but Cerrone brought things to a halt by using a jab to set up a picture-perfect head kick to the jaw, ending the match on the spot.

"It just came natural," Cerrone said of the kick. "I knew he was going to bring it strong.

Cerrone has now won 12 of his last 13 fights; Brown has lost three in a row.
