Goiti Yamauchi vs. Valeriu Mircea completes Bellator 168 card in Florence

The MMA portion of Bellator 168 card in Florence, Italy, is now complete with the addition of a lightweight fight between Goiti Yamauchi and Valeriu Mircea, the promotion announced. Scheduled for Dec. 10, the event will also feature five kickboxing bouts.

Yamauchi (20-3) made his lightweight debut under the Bellator banner in October, and only needed 61 seconds to tap Ryan Couture with an armbar. The Japanese-Brazilian fighter went 6-2 as a featherweight before moving up to 155 pounds.

Mircea (14-3) will make his promotional debut after racking up five straight wins around Europe. The Italian lightweight will fight for the 10th time in 2016, having won eight of his previous nine bouts, including five knockouts and one submission.

The MMA portion of the event will be headlined by a middleweight title fight between Rafael Carvalho and Melvin Manhoef, while the Bellator Kickboxing card features Giorgio Petrosyan vs. Jordan Watson in the main event.
