A head-to-head showdown between the UFC and Bellator highlights a slew of early 2017 events announced by the UFC.
UFC 208 will take place on Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. That will run head-to-head in the market against Bellator 170, which is headlined by Tito Ortiz vs. Chael Sonnen, just 35 miles down the road at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
Additionally, the UFC won't waste much time in returning to New York after making its debut this weekend with UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden. UFC 209 was announced for the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Feb. 11.
And the company returns to its home base of Las Vegas on March 4 for UFC 210. A venue was not announced.
Additionally, the UFC released several news UFC Fight Night dates: January 28 in Denver; Feb. 19 in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and March 11 in Brazil, venue TBD.
The shows were announced Wednesday night on FS1's UFC Tonight.
