Those in Houston for Super Bowl LI who are looking for something to do on the night before the big game will have a night of UFC fights on tap.
The UFC announced they'll hold a UFC Fight Night card at Houston's Toyota Center on Sat., Feb. 4, on the evening before the NFL crowns a champion at NRG Stadium.
No matchups have yet been announced for the card, which will be broadcast on FS1. The show marks the UFC's first card in Houston since UFC 192 last year, in which Daniel Cormier defended the UFC light heavyweight title against Alexander Gustafsson in a memorable battle.
While the UFC usually holds Super Bowl weekend events in Las Vegas, this isn't the first time they've gone up to the big game's host area. UFC 169 in 2014 was held at Prudential Center in Newark the night before the Super Bowl was held in nearby E. Rutherford.
Toyota Center was also the host of February's infamous Bellator 149, best remembered for the fight in which the late Kimbo Slice fought DaDa 5000.
