Alejandro Perez won't be fighting at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale. Perez first announced the news on Thursday, and MMA Fighting later confirmed it with UFC officials on Friday.

The Mexican fighter suffered a collar bone injury, forcing him to withdraw from his bout against Rob Font. The promotion is currently seeking a replacement opponent for Font. The 27-year-old Perez, who won the first season of The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America, is 3-1-1 in his UFC career and 17-6-1 as a professional fighter. Perez last competed at UFC Fight Night 94 in September where he fought Albert Morales to a majority draw.

Meanwhile, Font was looking to bounce back from his first UFC loss. The 29-year-old bantamweight is coming off a unanimous decision loss to John Lineker at UFC 198 back in May. That loss snapped an 11-fight winning streak for the American fighter.

The TUF 24 Finale takes place on on Dec. 3 at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nev. UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson is expected to defend his title against the tournament winner of TUF 24 in the main event of the card.
