Top UFC light heavyweight contender Anthony Johnson won't challenge Daniel Cormier for the title in Toronto after all.
Friday, MMA Fighting reported that 205-pound champion Cormier had suffered an injury and was forced to withdraw from his Dec. 10 title fight with Johnson at UFC 206. The championship bout served as the main event the card. The promotion is trying to find a late replacement for Johnson in hopes of keeping him on the card.
Below is how 'Rumble' reacted to the news, along with a message from Cormier to Johnson:
Worrying does not take away tomorrow's troubles, it takes away today's peace.
