It's the season for spending time with family and giving thanks — and for setting up fights?
Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos sent current champ Stipe Miocic a warm message on Thanksgiving via his Twitter feed, wishing him a warm holiday. Yet he also set the table with a proposition to fight in the New Year.
Namely, a showdown at UFC 209, which takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Feb. 11.
Hey @stipemiocicufc enjoy Thanksgiving in ur new home- hope it's filled w great food & friends. Let's fight after the holidays?Brooklyn? LMK

Dos Santos was victorious his last time out in April against Ben Rothwell in Zagreb, Croatia, scoring a unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 86. Overall he has won two of three, including a victory over Miocic himself. They met at UFC on FOX 13 in Dec. 2014, in what was a close — and brutal — battle.
Miocic defended the heavyweight title on Sept. 10 at UFC 203 in his native Cleveland against Alistair Overeem.
